Returns & Refund Policy

We want you to love your order. If something isn’t right, we’ll do our best to make it right. This policy explains your options clearly and in plain English.
Who we are
The Galaxy Star Projector is an online store based in Wigan, England. We sell to customers in the UK, USA, and worldwide. You can reach us at hello@thegalaxystarprojector.com.
30-Day returns window
You have 30 days from the date you receive your order to contact us about a return, exchange, or refund. After 30 days we are unable to offer a refund or exchange.
Faulty, damaged, or not as described
If your item arrives damaged, stops working, or doesn’t match what was described, you are entitled to either a full refund or a free replacement — your choice.
Because our products ship from overseas, we do not ask you to send the item back. Instead, we simply ask you to:
- Send us a photo or short video clearly showing the fault or damage
- Include your order number
- Email everything to hello@thegalaxystarprojector.com
Once we’ve reviewed your evidence, we’ll process your refund or dispatch a replacement within 3–5 business days. Refunds are returned to your original payment method via Stripe.
Change of mind
If you’ve simply changed your mind about your purchase, we offer a store credit or exchange to the same value — we’re not able to offer a cash refund in this case.
To be eligible:
- You must contact us within 30 days of receiving your order
- The item must be unused and in its original condition

Items that cannot be returned
- Items damaged through misuse or accidental damage (not a manufacturing fault)
- Items requested outside of the 30-day window
How long do refunds take?
Once approved, refunds are processed within 3–5 business days. Depending on your bank, it may take a few additional days to appear in your account.
UK customers — your statutory rights
If you are based in the UK, your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 apply in full and are not affected by this policy. Under that Act, goods must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose, and as described. If they are not, you have the right to a repair, replacement, or refund.
